UNA Edinburgh
About
The UNA Edinburgh branch was the first UNAS branch that was created. Indeed, it was through the UNA Edinburgh branch that activities to further the UN Goals were organised leading to the creation of UN House Scotland and UNA Scotland.
Activities
UNA Edinburgh branch continuing with its support of the work and activities of UN House Scotland (UNHS). As UNHS operates from the office owned by UNA Edinburgh, there is a close working relationship between these UN grassroots organisations. In particular, UNAE has been pleased to ensure that all office expenses (electricity, water supplies, IT charges) are taken by UNAS (as the legal entity under which UNHS operates).
There have been over ten events and meetings that UNAE has been able to attend and in some cases, jointly host. These include projects on many SDGs - No Hunger, No Poverty, Health, Education, Gender, Cities, Climate, Human Rights, Peace Security and Strong Institutions.
